For The Young Professional

I've noticed during my time in the business world the so-so fashion of the young professionals. With that being said, there are also some amazing fashionistas in the professional world, but many young guns (normally male) seem to have a hard time. Let me give you a few quick examples.

First and foremost, the "chubby suit", as i like to call it. The ill-fitting suit every male American, young and old, seem to own. Generally black and generally meant to fit their 100-lbs-heavier self. It's a travesty to behold and normally seen as their Sunday Best. Please do yourself, and your slimmer physique, a favor and get a fitted suit. You will look leaner and sexier. Who doesn't want that? I may even mistake you for James Bond.

Next, the shirt that balloons in all the wrong places also known as the classic collared button-down dressy shirt. A shirt for that time on an airplane when they yell "mayday" and you need a parachute. It is basically a bed sheet cut into a square. Next time you need a collared button-down shirt, look for the one that says 'slim fit' next to the size.

Last, but most certainly not least, the pleated-front pant. I know your grandfather may own only this style of pant, but let me ask you a question. Do you REALLY want dress like him? Sure they may have been in style when he was a young fellow, however they most certainly are not in style any longer. Next time I see you, I'll call you Pops.

This blog will allow me to style outfits For The Young Professional to show better ideas of what is attractive. I've heard you should wear clothing that reflects the career you are desire and not your current job. Let's all dress to impress and nab that promotion we are all vying for.
